    Afrological Perspectives on Timbre and Orchestration

    The Sub-Saharan African and Afro-Diasporic subgroup of the Diversity Workgroup is pleased to announce the second season of this Speaker Series. It will include 6 presentations over the 2023-24 academic year. The purpose of the series is to expand the ways we think about timbre and orchestration, diversify the music cultures ACTOR engages with, and to center the voices who know these traditions best.
