Annual Workshops
Annual Workshops
The Annual Workshops of the Analysis, Creation and Teaching of Orchestration (ACTOR) project provide an important opportunity for members of the partnership to convene each summer. Rotating between academic institutions in North America and Europe or hosted online, these events foster interdisciplinary exchange on the latest research in timbre and orchestration studies.
Workgroup sessions review current studies and strategize for the future, formulating actionable goals and proposals. These workshops also feature lightning talks, student presentations, concerts, and the director's report, with a hybrid format enabling both in-person and online attendance to enhance global participation.
