Timbre and Orchestration Resource on ACTOR Website

Time: July 15, 2020 11:00-14:00 EDT

Dear ACTOR partners, collaborators, and students,

Welcome to the Timbre and Orchestration Resource (TOR) workgroup!

We are looking forward to our upcoming session.

It will begin with short presentations by Jason Noble, Kit Soden, and Lindsey Reymore around the TOR information architecture, development plans, and research modules.

The main portion of the workgroup will consist of a brainstorming session on content possibilities and ways to build and expand the TOR, the open-access pedagogical, web-based resource that is a cornerstone output of the ACTOR Project. We welcome your feedback and expertise.

We are looking to expand our member-contributed content, so if you have any existing or new content that you would like to contribute to the TOR, it would be a great addition to the resource.

Please consult the provisional agenda and the TOR development plan on the ACTOR data repository (see the Information Page, login required).. Browse the “under construction” TOR here: https://www.actorproject.org/timbre-and-orchestration-resource

If you have any feedback ahead of time, please email actor-webmaster.music[at]mcgill.ca

See you soon,

Jason and Kit
